Specialist fire-rated partition works at Menara Pavilion. Fata Bestari supplied and installed a fire-rated gypsum board wall system, including framing, insulation, board fixing and finishing, with BOMBA certification documentation included within the project scope.
Project Overview
The work was carried out within an active high-rise commercial environment and required careful coordination with existing ceiling systems, air-conditioning ducts, fire services and door openings. Installation progressed in controlled stages so that each component of the tested wall build-up could be inspected before closing.
Scope of Work
- Setting-out and galvanised metal stud framing
- Fire-rated gypsum board lining and fixing
- Mineral wool insulation within the partition system
- Door opening, junction and head-detail coordination
- Joint treatment, skim coat and preparation for final finishes
- Coordination with M&E, ceiling and fire-protection services
- BOMBA certification documentation for the approved fire-rated wall system
